At Best Home Therapy, we believe in quality and accessible allied health care. Our private care services allow you to receive high-quality, in-home therapy without the need for a government plan or a referral. This flexible option is ideal for clients who prefer to arrange services themselves and want immediate access to therapy without the hassle of waiting periods and approvals.
Our private services includes:
- Physiotherapy: Pain management and mobility improvement.
- Occupational Therapy: Home safety assessments, equipment prescription, and independence training.
- Speech Therapy: Speech and swallowing support following a stroke.
- Strength & Conditioning: Personalised program to improve functionality and become the best and strongest version of yourself.
- Recent Hospital Admission Services: We can help you complete your rehab and get you back to your best in the comfort of your own home.
If you are not eligible for a government-funded program, you are welcome to access our private care services, with or without private health insurance. We aim to make your experience with us as convenient and beneficial for your health as possible.

No Referrals Needed
You can book in your first appointment directly with us with no GP referral required. However, if you already have a referral or care plan provided by your doctor or specialist, we’re more than happy to work with them to ensure continuity of care.
We Work With All Private Health Insurance Providers
If you have Private Health Insurance with extras cover, you may be eligible to claim a rebate for our services. Our team can provide itemised invoices and receipts for easy claiming. While mobile visits cannot currently be processed through HICAPS on the spot, you can conveniently submit your claim directly to your insurer.
Other Claims & Cover
DVA (Department of Veterans’ Affairs): We are proud to support Australia Veterans and War Widow(er)s with in-home allied health care services under the DVA Health Card Program.
TAC (Transport Accident Commission): If you’ve been in a transport or road accident, you may be eligible for allied health services covered by the Transport Accident Commission (TAC). Best Home Therapy works with you, your case manager, and your GP to ensure your treatment aligns with your recovery goals and TAC requirements.

How It WORKS…

Once we have your contact details, our super friendly staff will get in contact with you or your support provider to organise the initial consultation.
The initial consultation is where we gather all the necessary information (medical history, goal setting, lifestyle, etc.) to create a comprehensive treatment plan to help you live your best life.
Our experienced and supportive staff will work collaboratively with you and your support worker to develop a specialised treatment plan that specifically targets what you need. Treatment plans include guided exercises, expert resources (e.g. sleep, nutrition), support and a multitude of other forms of therapy to achieve your health & wellness goals.
After 6 weeks, we will review the effectiveness of the treatment plan as a team. We want to ensure that we are providing the best service possible and encourage feedback throughout. Achieving your health & wellness goals is our priority.
